Just in time for the spookiest day of all, Jamie & Brad celebrated their wedding this past weekend with a Halloween themed reception at Meadowview Convention Center & Resort . This bride loves the Halloween season so, after a proposal during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, it was only fitting that they plan an epic costume party for their wedding reception!
After a traditional, intimate ceremony at another venue earlier in the day, the entire bridal party was transformed into skeletons and zombies by the amazing Ren Allen and her assistant. For the bride and groom, they choose to do Frankenstien’s Monster and Bride of Frankenstien, complete with incredible costumes! (Brad rocked 8″ platform boots all night and I have no idea how he didn’t break his ankles!)
Once makeup was completed, we found an abandoned area near the resort to do some creepy photos highlighting their totally awesome makeup and costumes, then headed inside to greet guests and enjoy dinner and dancing (and an absolutely stunning cake by Susie’s in Kingsport)! Oh, and did I mention, the graveyard decor for the reception was all created by the bride and groom themselves. Wow! They did such a wonderful job with those designs! Add in the perfect pop of color for Rainbow’s End floral shop and this is definitely one of my favorite weddings ever!
Naturally, there will be a ton of photos coming up for this wedding, but with Halloween just around the corner, I knew I had to show off some of the themed part of their evening! Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for more from Jamie and Brad’s wedding day!
