June 9th, 2020: The First Wedding of the Year! What?!

It goes without saying that 2020 has been a year like no other and one of the most unusual things for those of us in the event industry is that we haven’t been working AT ALL! In fact, with all the cancellations and rescheduling that’s been going on, we made it all the way to June 9th without working an event of any kind! That just blows my mind! But… if we had to wait that long, at least we got to ring in the year with the SWEETEST couple!

Holly and Randall have been long distance sweethearts for quiet a while but, when it came time to get married, they literally met in the middle of their Tennessee and North Carolina homes for a ceremony at Storybrook Farm, in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Their super small ceremony featured only themselves and one of Holly’s friends and was so filled with love and happy tears they almost made me cry too!

During the ceremony, Randall played guitar and sang a song for Holly and then Holly sang the Lord’s Prayer as a blessing over their marriage. Then, at the reception, Holly played violin for Randall and it was the first time he’d ever heard her play in person! After that, they danced their hearts out on the cozy patio and truly enjoyed every moment of their wedding day. Now that these two will be building their life together outside of Nashville, I have no doubt that music will be constantly flowing from their home along with laughter, encouragement, and love!

As with all the weddings at Storybrook, this team does an amazing job catering to the needs and wants of their clients! There were so many special touches that helped make this day wonderful!
