I knew from the moment I met them that these two would be a lot of fun to work with! As we were planning their engagement session, I sent out a couple’s questionnaire to help me learn a little more about them and their relationship. Turns out, not only were they planning a Halloween themed wedding (Stay tuned for that in the next few weeks!) but so much of their love story was wrapped up in the holiday. Brad even proposed at Universal Studios during Halloween Horror Nights!
“Day-After” Sessions are great ways to celebrate your wedding in a truly unique way. The idea is that, instead of being confined to your chosen venue or to limited portrait time, you can choose to create your wedding portraits in other meaningful locations, on your schedule, without the stress of the strict timeline of the wedding day. (Plus, they give you another reason to wear all those “nice clothes” again!)
Let me start by saying how wonderful it is to photograph multiple weddings within the same family! After spending so much time with them during such emotional events, each wedding becomes like a little family reunion for us! It’s always so great to catch up with our previous brides and grooms, see the same parents and grandparents again, and enjoy the company of familiar faces. This wedding was no different.
The wedding industry is always growing and evolving. Each year couples bring their own tastes and interests into their wedding planning and, as such, the trends are constantly changing. One pattern that has emerged over the past few years is that many couples are opting for smaller, more intimate wedding celebrations.
With sunny days and spring flowers in bloom, there was no time more perfect for this bridal session. But it wasn’t just a normal photo shoot. In fact, we didn’t even have a real bride!
Have you ever been to a wedding that looks exactly like every other wedding you’ve ever been to? I have! I think everyone has seen this happen. Plain tables, plain decor, nothing to really stand out as special for the beloved couple… But you want your wedding to be different, right? You want it to show your personality. To be as unique as you and your fiance. You’re a unique couple, so why should your wedding look boring and plain?

You can tell it’s been a busy spring wedding season for us because the last thing I blogged about was Camille & Aaron’s engagement session! But now they’re married and it’s time to share some of our wonderful memories from their wedding day!
On Saturday, May 4th, Camille & Aaron tied the knot in Greeneville, Tennessee, but just a few weeks earlier, we met up at the beautiful Meridith Valley Farm for some sunny couple’s photos!
